Anti-Tamper Short Course (ATSC)
This two-day course provides a broad overview of the role of Anti-Tamper (AT) technology in DoD systems. It will describe the AT specification process and its relationship to the acquisition cycle. Techniques for protecting hardware and software systems will be presented with illustrative examples.

  • DoD Anti-Tamper policy directives
  • The process of specifying, designing, and evaluating AT technology
  • Anti-Tamper design milestones and their relationship to the acquisition cycle
  • Models of security, including protection, detection, and response approaches
  • Reverse engineering threats to hardware and software systems
  • Anti-Tamper techniques 
Target Audience
This course is designed for government acquisition professionals, program managers, and engineers who need to understand and implement DoD Anti-Tamper techniques. Attendance will be on a strict Need-To-Know basis.

Credit
The AT Short Course will count towards 16 hours of APDP continuing education credits.
